What’s the easiest and best and easiest way to get rid of mites?

You could get some Poulty Protector or Gordon's Permethrin spray. It comes in a spray bottle so you just spray it on your chickens and/or in their enclosure.

I use permethrin too. You can dust the birds with poultry dust containing permethrins or spray them. Wear gloves and work it into their feathers. I would also spray inside their coop totally every crack and crevice, on and under the roosts and put some poultry dust in the nest boxes. Repeating the treatment originally weekly is necessary because the permethrins does not kill the pests eggs. You can get the dust, premixed spray and the concentrate at TSC. I mixed the concentrate a little heavy originally with water. It depends on the area you need to treat. I have a lot of coops so I get the concentrate.
