what is the best way to get mites out of the coop? put 7's on the birds AM cleaned out shavings and sprinkled DE and 7's any thing else I should do?

First remove the birds....Take all the shavings out (and I burn them)
wash the house and run out with hot soapy water and let dry.
Put in clean dry bedding...You can use DE on the bedding ( I use poultry protector every time i clean the bedding)

Dust chicks with SEVIN dust and continue to treat.

Ya u will want to wash it ...sorry

And Poultry Protector is an natural spray that prevents and treats lice, mites and the eggs they lay....It is safe and none toxic and canbe sprayed lightly with every change or clean to prevent infestation....you can get it at Orschlen or TSC
