What is the correct deletion of permethrin to spray on chickens already got coop

Go by the directions on the bottle. A 40% formulation is not mixed the same as a 10% or 25% formulation. Also the way it is applied or used makes a difference.

My 40% formulation says mix 4oz in 25 gallons of water to make a dip. A dip seems like a good substitute for a spray so this is the strength I use. but instead of mixing up a 25 gallon super batch I use a hypodermic needle to mix smaller batches in a hand pump sprayer.

File the point off the needle and wash it and the syringe well after each use then reuse it to measure the next time you spray.
