Greetings all! The girls were overly generous this weekend and I can't put another batch into the bator until the 14th, so I'm offering up what has been given to me by my lovely flock. Mix and Match what you'd like! Price is $2/egg and shipping will be $12 for up to 10 eggs and $15 for 11+ eggs. I will include at least 1-2 extra eggs which will come from one or more of the breeds you have chosen.

Eggs available (all birds were hatched from eggs from private breeders, absolutely no hatchery stock):

Black Copper Marans: 19 eggs available
I have a pure Bev Davis roo (clean shanked) over 6 feather shanked girls (Jeane/Presley). Girls are very dark cooper in the hackles, no golden or 'straw'. My roo is huge, and should add very nice size and egg color to what hatches. I've been hatching about 80% feather shanked and 20% clean shanked.

Barred Olive Eggers: 18 eggs available
These lovely birds are so much fun to have on the farm. I have 2 roos (1 blue barred, one regular black barred) over 7 girls (3 are blue barred, 4 are black barred) and almost all have muffs, some beards, no leg feathering. I have been hatching several blues this year, and last week I finally got a splash! The girls are laying everything from a beautiful minty green to a nice deep olive green, and some are speckled.

SOLD Lavender Orpingtons: 10 eggs available
I have 2 roos over 5 girls. The roos have fantastic size. I have 2 lines, one out of CA, the other is HinkJC (from their 4th gen). This is still a project variety, so the birds are not perfectly to orpington standard, but there are no splits, you will hatch ALL lavender.

Silver Penciled Rocks: 6 eggs available
My silver penciled rocks are some of the loveliest birds on the farm. Their incredible pattern is best evaluated after their first moult. Chicks can usually be sexed around 4 weeks of age. All my chicks hatched from these birds have been very plump and active. Although the roo has great weight, the girls could use a bit more size, but I still wouldn't hesitate to show them.

I've had about a 95% hatch rate at home with these guys, and customers are also reporting great hatches. I've only had 1 infertile egg all season. All of my roosters are very well mannered. All birds are healthy, around 1 year old. We are scheduled for our NPIP testing this weekend. Eggs have been stored at 55-60 degrees, are candled for cracks/extreme porousness before they are shipped. Eggs are wrapped in paper towel, then small bubble wrap, then placed in a box padded with larger bubble wrap/packing peanuts. Your box will receive a tracking #, which I will email to you once the box is on its way to you.

This ad will only run until Wednesday! Oldest eggs are from 4/6, with most from 4/7-4/8. However, I will include only the freshest eggs when your box ships (eggs layed today through Wednesday will be included, depending on when your box ships). Please PM or post any questions.

As requested, here are some pics of the eggs. Only the freshest eggs will be sent for the breed you request. I will be continuously collecting this week and will fill orders with the eggs most recently layed.

Olive eggers:

BCM's at the beginning of their last cycle. Welsummer eggs in the middle for comparison. Eggs are a bit lighter now:

Hm, I was trying to leave feedback, but looks like since it was a Buy It Now I can't.. SO - I just want to say it here!
