Mix breed experiment

Would anyone have any idea what one would get from a snowflake bobwhite hen to a standard coturnix male ????just trying it out

Apparently you get a rather ugly hybrid bird that goes by the name 'bob bird'. I would have guessed they couldn't hybridize but after googling it, it seems they can. But the pictures I've seen that didn't appear to be just regular coturnix or bobwhites, were not particularly pretty.. Anyway, they are supposed to look mainly like the cots, so some of the pics I thought were cots might have been bob birds..

I mean I don't see why they can't be mixed hahha my male cot try's to mount her all the time

Why would you mix them? What benefit is to be had for us or the birds?

Wild Bob's are receding like crazy and need help, yet...
