Hey, I started this thread to learn more about good chicken mix breeds. Im thinking of adding a rooster to my flock, and would like to know what breed to add. I already have 1 silkie hen, 3 red sex-link hens, and 2 black sex link hens. I want to know what breed will not only improve the egg laying in my flock, but also the beauty, im planning to enter more of my chicks into shows. Please give me ideas on different breeds that i should add to my flock, and also share about the hilarious or dandy mix ups that you have in your flock. I am still new to the chicken biz, not to mention im a bit younger than many, but i have spent over 2 years in research about chickens before i even got them. Talk about prepared
