I have tried to get the best photos i can... this one is very skittish so cant really get close.
About 15weeks old
Silkie x
My guess is roo based on colouring...
Feather shapes look similar to other hens I have same age that were sexed but I know Silkies and silkie mixes can be more difficult to sex until they start crowing...
I have another one. Slightly different colouring that started crowing this week. So now I'm worried I have a few more boys then I thought I did lol
Any help would be appreciated. Unfortunately as they aren't "pure bred" roos in my area finding homes for them will be difficult. And first morning the other started crowing neighbour (even though we will rurally) was asking when it was going.
