Soooooo.... long story short, I went to the feed store, by myself, and came home with 6 new babies to replace 2 I lost earlier in the year and the 3 I hatched that look to be turning into little cockerels.

The big question is: can these new babies chill in the brooder with my 3 older ones? The older ones are 4 weeks. I had them separated, but the littles kept sneaking over to the high guys side, and they didnt seem to care about the little . I took the divider out and everyone is eating and drinking together. There hasn't been any pecking at all.

What do yall think? Here's 2 pics, separated and together. They're in a huge metal stock tank for water. The warm end is 99 and cool end is 75.

Also, any idea what these two little guys might be? I thought they were both hatchery quality americauna, but, after looking again when I got home, the one has a black comb, and the other does not.
