Mixed bantams from the feed store.

What an interesting mystery! All of your chicks are adorable, and Ivy, your black chicken is so pretty!

It's too bad that Mt. Healthy doesn't list what bantam breeds they have (I looked on their site and could only find "assorted bantams").

Cute chicks, the greyish ones look like Light Brahmas to me, then you should have a Sultan and perhaps you are right about white D'Uccle.

The black and gray ones are definitely mottled cochins! Yay! I am pretty sure I have a pair b/c one has plenty of feathers already, and the other still has barely any.

The 5 toed one isn't a sultan, it's definitely a salmon faverolle pullet. Her muffs are much more pronounced and her wing feathers have come in mostly light tan with some gray and white mixed in.

She's my oldest son's favorite, and has a very calm personality.

I can't wait to find out what the white one is. I will be happy either way, cochin or d'Uccle.

The little gray one is probably some sort of lavender OEGB, but she's my 2yo dd's favorite, so whatever she (or he!) turns out to be, we will likely have to keep her. I like her a lot, too. She's so calm and sweet. She's as calm as the silkie, but unlike the silkie, doesn't mind being held.
