Mixed Breed Chickens!

I have several mixed breeds - but here are my two "grown" up ones

Our sweet flock rooster - hatched in my classroom (first graders loved that!) Daughter named him Chesnut (he was brown striped as a chick)

His favorite friend is Peepers (she came with my hatchery Buff Orpinghtons - but clearly is not one). Green feet and green eggs. She reminds me a little of a hawk.

I just love seeing what these mixed breeds will look like as they grow up.
