Mixed breed eggs

I have someone thats willing to give me as many eggs as I want she has lots of chickens but a lot of diffrent kinds of chickens too does it matter when youre incubating and hatching eggs if there darwins grab bag?
I also have someone willing to give me banty eggs <dont know what kind of banty but Im guessing mixes of those maybe to but they are 4H banties if that says anything>
So would mixed breeds and mixing eggs< If I ever make up my mind about homemade or bought bator> just like putting whatever breed of egg in the bators?

Nope and mixed chickens can be very colorful. last year i just grabed eggs for hatching and hatched some very colorful chicks.

I am just hatching a load of mixed, or "Mutts" as I call them, as my first hatch. I didn't want to try the expensive eggs first. It is a cheap way to get everything right and learn.
