Mixed breed? Not easter egger though

I have a 5 month old rooster that is half mixed. They said half Easter egger but he doesn't look like an Easter egger at all. Any guesses what he might be?

Possibly a leghorn mix? I'm not too sure. That tail is interesting though! He's a beauty!

Why do you think he's not an EE?

He's got that little crest to hint at Legbar ancestry and Legbar-based EEs and Olive Eggers are quite common now.

The white skin is interesting. Not sure where you get a white-skinned, white-feathered bird with a black tail but no black on the hackles.

It is possible he is part Easter egger. Just all the other ones from his hatch has a beard

I'd wonder if he's part Light Sussex with the variety and leg color

EEs come in the crest type and the beard type depending on the source of the blue egg gene.
