This assortment is hens choice. They are laying well and I get about 1 dozen eggs a day so hatching eggs will be fresh when shipped.

All hens are an assortment of breeds laying an assortment of egg colors, males covering them are Cream Legbar(blue egg gene) and Black Copper Marans(chocolate egg gene). Female chicks that hatch from these eggs could lay a variety of egg colors ranging from blue, green, olive, and browns ranging from light brown-chocolate brown. That is why I call it a rainbow assortment

-The Cream Legbar male (blue egg gene) is covering Silver Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben(white eggs), Olive Egger(olive eggs), Silver Laced Cochin(light brown eggs), Blue Copper Marans (Dark brown eggs) and a Barred Rock Wyandotte cross (light brown eggs). The offspring of all of these will result in blue, green and olive eggs.

-The Black Copper Marans (Dark brown egg gene) is covering Black Copper and Blue Copper Marans and Marans mixes. The offspring of these will result in possible dark brown eggs and also light-medium brown eggs. Some Marans will be pure but only considered pet quality not show/breeder quality. Also green egg laying Easter Egger hen(if she is laying) resulting in offspring that could possibly lay olive eggs.

Each 1dozen is $15, 18eggs is $20, 2dozen eggs is $24. I do include extras. Shipping is an additional $15.
I accept payment through Paypal.

I make no guarantees on hatching rates, due to the handling of the eggs through USPS and also due to individual incubating techniques. I can only guarantee that I will send fertile eggs and that I pack my eggs very well. Each egg will be individually bubble wrapped and packed with packing material around them all so they do not bounce around. I also double box.

The pictures included are the eggs that my hens lay. I am NH NPIP certified.

Hi! When you say that the Marans rooster is covering some "Marans mixes" what are those mixed with? Is it a totally different breed or intermixed Marans? Your eggs are beautiful! Also, I know it's hens' choice, but would it be ok to specify which we'd like most, IF available, of course! Thanks! :)

Technically they are all pure Marans, I call some Marans mixes because I have a one that lays regular brown eggs and has green tinged legs etc. and I dont consider any of them to be close to standard. I just don't want to give the impression that these Marans are a good starting point for breeding, I consider them pet quality or layer flock Marans. Most of them lay nice dark eggs. They are all non hatchery birds just some are better than others. Some times it is easier to call certain breeds mixes as to not let people have higher expectations of quality. Sorry for that confusion.

Im sure I might be able to separate what you would like as long as those hens participate during the days I am collecting.
