Mixed breed turkey?

Hi,

I was told the turkeys were Norfolk blacks and Iv read some have white feathers and others say the shouldn’t

They are probably about 8-9 weeks old and this little one still has a couple white feathers in there.

Will S/he be mixed or is this normal?

Your Blacks aren't pure. They are most likely a cross between Black and Royal Palm.
The number of light colored feathers will increase over the years. You have some type of Mottled Black turkeys, most likely Tri-Color Mottled Black.

Thanks for that, always disappointed when someone doesn’t specify that they could be a cross. Would you say the bronze would be cross with something too?

Would the black have all black feathers by this age usually?

Unlike Black, Bronze turkeys can hide a broad variety of genes/alleles.
Some of these impurities can be determined when the are older, some can't be told until you breed them.
