Well, I HAD all the ducks I wanted until this weekend. I was gone overnight and the newly changed brooder light went out and I lost both little ducklings I kept from the last hatch. My aunts ducks are setting right now so wont be getting any more from her for a while.
My daughter is heartbroken as they were her favorites.[IMG]
I would like to buy at least half a dozen mixed breed duck eggs. I am not real particular on the mix though we do love the runners.
Anyway, if someone might have these available next week after the holiday, please pm or e-mail me. Thanks.

Hi Natalie!! I am sending you a pm. That would be wonderful as the ones we lost were Indian Runner mixes. I still have my two older ducklings I kept from a hatch in February (welsh harlequin/pekin cross hen and pekin drake), a indian runner/blue swedish cross and an indian runner cross that I hatched out in my bra during a power outage several weeks ago, lol. I wanted six ducks, now just down to four. Though I think the older hen might start laying this fall.

I have mixed eggs ... I could get you a few after the holiday- but most likely only 6 or 7 as I have one broody.

I have a saxony drake over hens that are F/W Crested runner and Black Swedish. I also have a newly laying Welsh Harlequin but i dont know if i'll have eggs from her or not in the mix as shes sporatic at best.

they look like this when hatched :

out of all the eggs my broody hatched ( 22!) everyones been upright like a runner. I have had 6 crested ducklings hatch and 2 b/w ones like the one above.
