Can I raise chicks and quail chicks together in the same coop/run?

I have zero experience with quail, but I would be concerned about the difference in size. Even if the chicks didn't mean to harm the quails, accidents could happen.

As adults, I still house my chickens, ducks and geese in species-specific shelters, although all are loose together during the day.
