Out of curiosity, how bad an idea is it?
Hatching chicks with guinea, for example, or ducklings with guinea?
If chicks hatch 4-8 days sooner than ducklings or guinea, assuming chicks are removed to brooder before second lock down, how much does the early increase in humidity affect them?
I've had staggered hatches, have one chick now that's 5 days younger than the rest.
Can it be done? Has anyone attempted this?
My mom wants me to set eggs for her, my bater holds 56. But within ten days, neither of us can collect more than 12 or so duck or guinea eggs. Seems a waste to run it 80% empty.
