I've been reading so many different articles on hatching eggs and so many different opinions about temperature and humidity that now I wonder if I did anything right!
So far I've had one egg hatch and it didn't make it. Now I'm waiting for the other 11 to do something and its day 23!
If this hatch turns out bad I won't quit, I'll just start a new one! Practice makes perfect!
Thank you for all your help!

Hatching Eggs 101 by @Sally Sunshine is the most comprehensive and best researched guide to incubation that I have seen. It has information on every stage.

Only if you learn from your mistakes. What have you learned from this attempt? It sounds like one thing is to not give up too early. That's a good lesson.

I'll include a couple of troubleshooting guides that might help you see what you might improve on. I open my unhatched eggs to see if I can figure out what went wrong.

One of the reasons you get so many different opinions is that different thing work for different people. We use different incubators, let alone different types of incubators. We hatch at different altitudes with different air pressures. Some climates are drier than others. Each egg can be different even if laid by the same hen. The list of differences goes on and on. It takes some trial and error to figure out what works best for you so I think you have the right attitude.
