I am sad to say that I will be returning the Barred Rock because it's a rooster. However, my question is that I will be getting a 2 day old BR and I was wondering if I can put it with my other chicks which are (3) 5 weeks and (2) 4 weeks old or will they pick on the little fella or will I put her by herself? I'm still hoping that it is a HEN?!?!?!?!

Probably not a good idea....you really need to quarantine the new ones for 30 days, just in case. Then the new ones will be stronger and able to establish pecking order with older ones.
I've never mixed mine, but if space becomes an issue.....well thats chicken math, but chicken health and happiness should come first.[IMG]

The little guys would be trampled. Don't do it.
