mixing ages and feed

HI all, When can I put my babies in with the big girls,MY big girls are 7 months old and I have four 8 week old when can I mix them.also my big girls are on layer feed , and the babies will be coming of the medicated feed this week .Can I give them layer mix,If they move in together or are they going to need grower feed? If thats the case I 'm guessing they will have to move in at 16 weeks.

I've always moved my chicks from the medicated chick starter straight to the layer feed. Just becareful that the older girls don't bully the younger ones and prevent them from getting enough feed.

I had my broody go in baby the run today for a little while. Then I let them all out to play in the yard the big girls and the 8 week olds.they are almost as big as my lpolish , sultan and black sumatra which was the only one that bother them.so back to there own pens they went .I will try it again tomorrow .
