mixing ages

I just added four 16 week old birds to my flock. will it be alright for them to eat the layer mash that the rest of my girls eat.this is my first time adding birds to the flock.

i introduced some 3 month old banties to my two year old hens and had no prob what so ever....after my big girls told the banties who was boss
