I have a friend who is currently getting rid of a bantam rooster and I was in the market for a rooster so it seems like a great idea I of course say yes, then I get to thinking can I put a bantam rooster in with my girls? They will all be larger than him, will that matter? I have 4 Barred Plymouth Rock, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 1 Buff and 1 Sassy (Sassy is a chicken we inherited and I have no idea what she is, we think she is a Rhode Island Red but I am unsure.)

Thank you in Advance.

I often have several roosters at a time running together. Two years ago I had a silkie roo that "won" most of the hens hearts--he would always mate them, even a Jersey Giant, Marans, etc--he was the randiest of them all--needless to say I got a lot of mixed breed chicks with poof ball heads! I sell my mixed breed chicks and separate roos out when its serious breeding time!

Hey guys not to hygack this thread but can I hatch bantam Cochins, seramas, large fowl lavender orpringtons, and large fowl silver laced Wyandottes together? I don't want anyone trampled or hurt cause of the size differences.
