    I have 3 Leghorns, 1 Austrolorpe/Cochin, and 1 Roo, 1 RIR, and 12 Barred Rock Hens.

    1. Can I get some bantams and put them in with my full size chickens??

    2. Should I get a Bantam roo to go with the Bantam hen or just stick with my full size roo?

I just went to pick up about 7 cases of canning jars **FOR FREE** and the lady there has bantam hens (also 8 babies) and some roos she is just dying to give away!! They are so cute!!

Anyone have any cons to this idea?? Pros?? I can accomodate new additions to my flock, however they would have to be in the same coop.

I have banties with my full size gals as well. Everyone gets along fine. The two banties stick together and are so cute.
