I hope this is the right place to post this so here it goes:

I have 2 Blue Ameracauna hens and 1 Blue Am roo, we also have 2 RIR/Barnyard mix hens that lay a light brown egg and 3 RIR that lay a darker brown egg. Now we plan to start incubating tomorrow 11/9/11 with 8 Blue Am eggs and 18 of the others. So what will be the egg color, when they mature, of the offspring of the Blue Am roo and the RIR/Barnyard mix?

Do you have Am or EE? If the egg is blue, they will all make green eggs. If it is green, who knows. Might be brown, might be green...

No they are Blue AmerAcauna not AmerIcauna the eggs are blue from them. Just was trying to anticpate the color of future eggs as we would like to have green eggs added to our basket.
