Is there a problem with incubating chicken and turkey eggs at the same time? I understand that the turkey eggs take longer, but as I am in the building process for my incubator and have 2 egg turners, I was thinking of either building 1 large one that will hold both turners and so I could stop the turning prior to hatching on the chickens while still turning the turkey's.

Or should I just build two smaller ones so that I can hatch them separately?

Make one with 3 shelves. One to hatch an the other two for the turners..

People do hatch them together all the time though but setting them a week apart.
