Mixing Chick Ages

I had placed an order for 3 leghorns and 3 auracanas. The leghorns came in last week. The aurancans might come in this week. My question is can I put the new chicks in with the leghorns who will be a week old now and what temp should I have it at to keep both ages comfortable.

I think you should be able to. I don't put anything together past a two week window. I would keep my temp up to accomidate the babies. The bigger ones will be fine at that temp for a while longer.

You shouldn't have a problem with that close an age group....I'd put the temp for the new chicks.... the older ones can always get away from the warmer conditions in a brooder for awhile and then just set the temp to handle both....
