Thank you all!!, I have two adult hens and it's time to increase the flock... Make a bigger run (I have a great coop) and just grow this hobby. I love them so much. These aren't all mine, the incubated ones are the neighbors...and the 6 store bought are mine. So I will keep them separated until she is back from vacation in two weeks and we may swap then..., but who knows. I love them all already.
Lost two of the incubated ones (weak and didn't full form) so wasn't going to go through that stress again....we did get 12 though from incubation and one iof my adults is from our first set we incubate 2 years ago... And my Gertie is the only one left from that set, was the runt! Love her!
