mixing different aged chickens

we got 7 chicks in April(leghorns) and 26 more chicks (mixed) there all females. With only being about 5 weeks different I want to mix them in about a month so the little ones are going to be about the same size as the other 7. Both groups are in different building and have never seen each other. My question is do you think there will be any problems? And if so what can I do ahead of time to make it easier on all of them?

Let them meet & greet while divided by a fence then after a couple days, let them go. They will fight to establish pecking order but a good rooster will make sure it doesn't go to far
