Mixing different breeds

I just bought 2 golden red pullets and have put them in the same coop as my silver speckled hens. The silver speckled hens are pecking at the new hens. Is this normal?

Normal pecking order behavior. Established flock members pick on new birds. Make sure they are getting enough to eat and drink and are not being injured.

a mixed flock is nice to look at

but i feel bad for my leghorn.. since she's the smallest in the flock.. keep getting picked on.. :/

I'm getting blue eggs from Hamburgs. Is this a color they lay?
