Ironically, I did the same thing, mixing cracked corn with the Layena crumbles. Ducks looked at me like I was crazy. I was just mixing to give them something a little different. I know that sounds stupid, but just a different taste in their mouths. Ya know? But my ducks are so picky they won't eat the pellets, only the crumbles. AND they don't like Peas either!
