I have 6 6wk old guinea and 4 6wk old chicks that I would like to house together for a few weeks. I think I may have 3 roosters out of my 4 chicks. My question is what should I feed them if they are all together? I have been feeding guineas gamebird starter and the chicks chick starter. Thank for any help this is my first time with guineas.

You can feed either of them either one! The chicks can tolerate game bird starter, and the guineas can tolerate chick starter. The only problem is the guineas will be smaller if they eat chick starter, and chicks will be bigger if they eat game bird starter. So it's your choice!

Mixing the remaining feed when feeding and both chicks and Guineas will benifit. I hope the Guineas and chicks will get along OK. I put mine together when they were very small about five weeks old both chicks and Guineas. They all get along well. Guineas will begin to attack roosters when they mature more and pull out the tail feathers as a rule. Ours are three months old now and all looking heathy. We have fed a mixture of the feed.

Thanks for all the help. I put them together today so far so good. I combined the feed and that should be enough until I seperate them again in about 4 weeks. I will watch for problems because I think I have 3 roos in the mix.
