Mixing Quail Chicks of Different Ages: Safe or Risky?

Can I put quail chicks from two different hatch batches (one week apart) in the same brooder, or do they need to be separated? Will the older ones bully or harm the younger ones?

It's not a good idea. The older ones will bully and possibly kill the younger ones.

I’d wait until they are 4-6 weeks old to mingle them, there is a huge size difference those first few weeks.

I wouldn't put them together until the younger ones are 6 weeks old. That's when they're all going to be about the same size.
