Mixing silkie chicks

Hi everyone
Right now I have two 2 week old chicks and six 4 day old chicks and I was wondering when can I mix the two?

l connected the brooder bins early morning yesterday, and put hardware cloth in between the two bins so they can see each other. I let the two groups hang out today, and they where pretty good, one of the younger ones was trying like peck at one of the older ones, but that was about it. Now they sit next to each other from opposite sides of the hardware cloth.

You are doing everything just right! Should be able to put them together in a day or two I would think. Anything under a month old I usually put together without any issues.
