I think partridge is usually black and brown, with no white. So the hen would not be considered partridge.Anyone have experiencing mixing silkie colours? Your lovely hen here looks like she has some dominant white and autosomal red going on. She is not partridge. Will be very interesting to see what the chicks look like. I have a silky mix and want to hatch eggs back to silky…… here are the pics of mom and two babies they were mixed from a lavender olive egger Roo. Should I go back to all white or something different ? Mama in the pool off spring male and female I have an all white silky Roo and a tri colored roo ….. and a blue female a tri colored female and a black and white paint for the Roo to bread back to…… what ones would you all do ?
