Mixing?

I have 16 older chickens of about 2 1/2 months old and I just got 6 more baby ones of about 2-3 weeks (I just got them at the store and they are still really little but idk exactly how old they are) At the moment I have my baby ones inside and my older ones outside. When my baby ones are old enough could I put them with the rest of the flock or would they fight?

If you free range or just have a HUGE run, it will better your odds of things going well. But most integrations have problem of the older, bigger birds pecking (sometimes harshly) at the smaller newbies. That's why is highly suggested to wait until the newbies are at least close in size to the original flock. If/when you attempt integration, supervise closely, and make sure there are more than one feeder available, as well as roosts and barriers of some kind so that the smaller birds have a place to get away from bullies.
