Might be some useful suggestions there you can use.For the oatmeal we would grind in a coffee grinder and place in a sock for use in the bath.Got a lot more out the oatmeal by grinding it up.

Speedy healing.

Thanks

kinda odd. I don't have too many spots, I looked up pictures and mine are way less than a lot of people. I didn't really get sick either just a headache.

I had them when I was 10 I think, my sister was 8 and our baby sister was about 1. The baby probably got off the easiest!!

I remember oatmeal baths, and fever. I don't remember being ALL that much itchy, although my sister and I both have a couple of scars so we must have scratched at some point

I mostly remember feeling dizzy and sick because of the fever. It messes with my already terribly low blood pressure and I tend to almost black out if I get up too fast. Ever since then I've been able to recognize a fever not by my temperature, but by how I feel.

Overall though, it's not as horrible as some people would have you believe. I was all happy when I was in 7th grade and I didn't have to get the shot because I'd already had them!

I only remember a few details from the chicken pox. first, I remember being thrilled when I got both my older brother and my younger sister sick. second, I remember itching and not being helped all that much by the oatmeal, and lastly I remember that I found a tick, on my head, under my hair, right as I was getting better. no idea how it got there, because I had been indoors the whole time I was sick. but it made for a fun day none the less. if i recall correctly we spent the day looking at it through a magnifying glass, then a microscope, then trying to squish it, and when that didn't work, drown it.

I itched...ALOT. Put on hydrocortisone cream and laid naked on the bed letting the cool air soothe my skin. Oatmeal baths didn't work...the hot water made me itch more. Cold water made me happier. Had an awful fever and the only thing I wanted to eat were baked potatoes.
