mn black silkie roo wants new home

can't imagine that anyone is looking for a roo, but before he turns into my friends dinner, thought I would try this. He is very friendly, a good flock leader - pretty darned sweet. He was a "pullet", is about 10 months old, and I wasn't planning on having two roosters for my small flock. My other hens are standard breeds and if they go broody, I would prefer they hatched eggs from a standard roo.

Live outside of Pine City, can transport him to the twin cities/duluth/granstburg wisc, etc. - or meet you halfway.

Oh, thanks for the offer, but I am too nervous about shipping to try that. I did find a person on craigs list who has silkies who might take him....she is here in Mn. Not a done deal yet.
