And check out my website to see what I do. I don't do collision work (well not right now, may have to if everyones "fun money" evaporates in this economy). I restore classic vehicles.

But nice that you restore the classics! I used to drive MG Midgets, and someday I'm getting a Studebaker.

The more I get to know you, the funnier the similarities!

OMG! MG Midgets??? My dad used to restore MG Midgets and MG-B's!!! (all pre-1973. He hated the later models)

Growing up we had a 67 MGB and a 69 Midget. I loved that Midget more than life! One day I will get another MG, AND, someday, I WILL get a 1964 Austin Healy Bug-Eyed Sprite. (Dream car of all time!!)

This might sound wierd, be since you owned one you might understand.... every time I see one somewhere I have to go over and 'smell' the car. There is a certain MG smell between the ragtop, the old leather, the wood, and whatever else. That smell gives me serious happy endorphins!

She went to jail for a very, very long time. If it hadn't been a racing vehicle, or if I hadn't been lazy and had swapped the hard top for the rag top, I'd have gone squish. Car was totalled, but it wasn't worth enough for me to buy another one.

Someday, I will have another. Someday when I have a heated garage to keep it in, in the winter. If they made them with diesel engines, I'd jump on that like a rat on a terrier.

Right now I just want a Subaru Forester.

Isn't this something that should/could be discussed on the blog?

I was under the impression that it would be a place for the "locals" to chat with eachother about this great addiction?
