Mockingbird for Lunch?

    The other day I was sitting out watching my chickens and a mockingbird landed in their fence. It was just sitting there, no where near their food or coop and they started chasing him.

    They looked exactly like they do when they chase a grasshopper or butterfly. Did they want a mocking bird snack?

    Nope, it was in THEIR territory...which is why the only set of Baltimore Orioles I've ever seen in my yard in 15 years took a hike..Obelisk chased them away...[​IMG]
