This was my favorite pair out of the ones I had.
Love them but mine didn't do well with how cold it gets here and the chicks were pretty fragile compared to anything else I've had.

Was it mainly their combs? Or like Cornish bantams in that they have tight feathering and can't insulate as nicely?

They're just not built for the cold. And they are so small.
