Yesterday I built this with help from a friend. My chicks (5 total) are 4 weeks old and I plan to add screen around the bottom and to screen around the roof openings. I live in GA, and worried a bit about heat, so in addition to the roof vents, the floor is open a bit and the chickens should be able to get air flow from below, while being protected from wind and rain. Is that sufficient for ventilation?
