The thought of two foals together like that made Warlock's stomach do flips. Yuck, he thought, trotting to the clover patch.

Evander bent over to drink from the quietly rushing water in the stream, sighing silently to himself as the Cardinals in the distance serenaded him with their competitive song, Goldfinches joining in their chorus soon after.

Evander saw a form moving under the thicket, the dappling of sun revealing who she was. Evander didn't reply to her presence until she lay her gaze in his direction, to which he smiled at her, "Hey," he greeted calmly and steadily, managing to conceal his nervousness completely. Casually he lumbered over to her area, "How are you this afternoon?"
