Ariel slowly closed her eyes, and made her head comfortable against Apollo's before falling asleep.

Belle jealously watched Ariel and Apollo, trying hard not to become green with envy. Americus nuzzled her, sensing her sadness. "Momma, it's okay," He snuggled against her. He'd been speaking amazingly well the past few weeks.

Roy lumbered back from his favorite shady thicket and back into the mainlands of Skyherd. He was social in nature, so his gray eyes, as always, sought someone to talk to. Silently drinking in the conversation surrounding him, he aimlessly trotted about, now and then he would pull at a patch of clovers if he saw one. Someone caught his eye. He hadn't seen her before, nor her colt. He tossed his long, ivory mane and cantered casually over toward Belle and Americus. "I don't believe we've met," he said, the giant's voice unexpectedly soft-spoken, a soft smile brightening his expression. "You can call me Roy."
