"The only fool here is you" She replied coldly "I will give you a choice, either step down and live in the herd under my leadership, leave, or fight and lose"

The dog cocked his head, wondering if they'd seen him and were drawing an attack. He knew full well that a single horse could trample him - his great-great-grandfather had been killed in a carriage accident - but he was not intimidated by these horses. He was light-footed and could easily dodge any attack.
