Bella grazed in the clover patch, gazing absently into the forest as her mind swam in thought.

Storm had trudged so far into the forest that she'd crossed a road, and entered even farther pasture. There was no sign of Flip, anywhere. Storm snorted in frustration and turned back toward the bustling road, carefully watching for cars.
