"Psh" She laughed "We're fine, I came to get you in case you didn't know where we were"

He laughed in return, then settled. "To get me? I thought this herd was in my hands now...Unless some other brat got it instead."

"I was wondering if perhaps you wanted to join ShadowHerd as lead stallion" She ventured "If you want"

*oops, you beat me to it*

"Why is she still in Skyherd?" whispered Remus anxiously.

"Jingo? She was the one who tricked us into letting her rule. She is pure evil, and killed several mares with the help of her brothers and sister and that big stallion." Sienna said.

A British voice haunted Sienna. "Is now a good time?"

The grey dun horse shook his head in awe. Just the mention of all the pain the herd had suffered at their discretion made Remus want to charge down there and roar a challenge. It took a lot of effort to subdue a frustrated neigh. Yet he had to look at the facts. The stallion was huge, much bigger than his own 14.2 hands. He was nearly seven years old, not exactly an energetic youngster, and still not yet a heavy-muscled elder. There was also the addition of underhanded tricks. In the end, Remus decided, it wasn't worth it.

The dogs were quieter this time, creeping around the edge of the woods instead of in the open.
Suddenly Columbia was bitten severely behind and pulled into the Drinking Hole by some invisible force.

The colt, still in the main part of the herd, stood up on three legs and snorted at Columbia.

"I would and all, but there are a few issues that I don't like to point out..." he stammered. Without thinking too much, he blurted quietly, "...There are a couple too many stallions in your current family, and it's not that I don't trust them, I just don't want them taking my mares."

"Don't. He will chop you up. Let Holly and the dogs take care of them." Sienna whispered urgently.
