Evander bolted out of the waterhole, the water droplets flinging out behind him in a shower of molten silver as the sun shimmered on them, skipping across his rich chestnut pelt. His heavy hoof feathering flew back as his slender, yet well-built form darted through the field to the mainlands of Skyherd.
