Twilight came back a while later, with a wobbly pure black colt. She nudged it along to lay under the willow tree.

Shadow galloped up to Twilight. "Oh my gosh, you had it! What did you name it?" She asked happily.

"I named him Apollo."

"Apollo is beautiful! Have you told Jet yet? He'll be happy its a colt!"

"I'm waiting for him to get back. He'll be very excited." The small black colt suckled and flicked his tail.

"Well I should let you two rest! If you need anything, I'll just be over there grazing."

"Alright." The colt finished and looked at Twilight. He smiled weakly, and snuggled closer to his mother. She nuzzled him and sang him a Arabian lullyby to help him sleep.
