Sprite stopped, listening carefully, wondering if he would tell. she wouldnt. not yet. but one day, to the right horse, she would. It crossed her mind: could this stallion be the right horse to tell. she liked him already.

The colt, finding himself alone, wondered where he could find something to eat. He tried grass as he'd seen the others do but couldn't swallow it. He lay down and fell asleep again.

At once Remus realized that he should have known this question was coming, but it caught him by surprise all the same. It took a second for his eyes to change from horror to cool regard. "I'm from the far north," he pawed the ground thoughtfully. "I was abandoned as a foal by my owners and left to die by the thunderpath. My color, it seems, wasn't up to my breed's standards." he shook his head. "I was taken in by an old mare who had lost her filly a few days before. It's been a long story since and I know I'd bore you with it," he snorted and whisked his tail. "How about you? How did you come to Skyherd?"

"Oh, I am sorry Remus! How horrible." Sienna said compassionately. "There was a fire at my barn when I as a weanling, and everybody else died except for one, but he lives with two-legs." Sienna said, sighing.
