"Just a bit of . . ." he winced. "Aging." Of course he didn't elaborate. He was, afterall, merely six years of age. In fact, the pain in his joints worried him. He had not felt the dull ache ever since he'd survived the plague in the north.

"Wise words, Twilight," he dipped his head in agreement. "Happiness may be conditional to some, but joy can be a part of you all your life."

Remus listened intently to Twilight's story. "Maybe we could pay him a visit. We don't exactly have much else going on right now--it would be nice to be a little farther away from Columbia."

(Wish it could be now now, but I've got to go in like five minutes. But go ahead, don't wait for me. I'm not on a whole lot)

"Sounds great!" he brightened at the prospect of seeing some more friendly horses for a change. "How far away is this two-leg place?" He looked with concern at Ariel and Apollo.

"Oh, not far off. Just a trot, walk and a gallop away. Come on, I'll show you. Come Apollo." She headed off into the woods, and galloped towards the road. She stood still on the edge of the forest, wating for the cars to pass by, then trotted across. After several minutes of trottong, she came upon the Vet's place. "Zeus, Zeus!" She called out quietly.
